This page is maintained by Luhte (operator of linkbay.co, "we", "us") to describe how Linkbay handles your data. This is app-owned editable content, not a certification or legal advice.
1. Who we are
Linkbay is operated by Luhte, based in Finland. Contact: luhte@luhte.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.
- Profile data you provide: display name, bio, avatar URL, and chosen username(s).
- Link data: titles and URLs you add to your public page.
- Payment data: when you buy an additional username, payment is processed by Stripe. We store only the resulting transaction reference and the username purchased. We do not receive or store your full card number.
3. How we use it
- To create and secure your account.
- To render your public /username page for visitors.
- To process purchases of additional usernames.
- To respond to support and abuse reports.
4. Google user data
When you sign in with Google we request only openid, email, and profile. We do not use this data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with third parties except the service providers listed below.
5. Service providers (subprocessors)
- Cloud infrastructure provider - application hosting, authentication, and database.
- Google - optional sign-in provider.
- Stripe - payment processing for username purchases.
6. Retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and associated profile, links, and usernames, email luhte@luhte.com from the address on your account. Purchase records may be retained where required by tax or accounting law.
7. Your rights
Under the EU GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data by contacting us at the email above.
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to process payments. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
